Welcome 2013!

This new year promises to be one of yet more changes and challenges in our lives. Mike will be "getting out" of the active duty life, and he will be working for himself while still being in the reserves. This almost seems impossible to me. Three years ago, I was preparing to say goodbye to my husband as he entered basic training. Now, a baby, three moves, and a dog later, we will be saying goodbye to the Army lifestyle. I often wonder what the future will hold. I know that I'm not alone in that. We plan for as much as we can then hold our breath as things morph into what we know as life. Thankfully, with all this change comes some consistencies. Family and faith can be loaded up and taken anywhere! I have to laugh to myself at this...well, of course, it does! BUT sometimes, when the unknown looks daunting, I can have difficulty in realizing how much of my life will remain the same. So... Welcome 2013. I hope I can grow more as a person during the next twelve months. New Year's Resolutions... 1. Focus on Fitness 2. Read more 3. Finish another semester of college (accredited, this time)(some of you will understand the feeling)
